Happy Holidays from the Thornton Wilder Society!
On December 10th, we held our annual Zoom Reading of The Long Christmas Dinner, Wilder’s classic one-act showcasing the lives of several generations of the Bayard family, and some of their Christmas dinners. As generations appear, have children, wither and depart, only the audience appreciates what changes and what remains the same.
After the reading and discussion we toasted the end of 2022! We look forward to more Wilder readings and events in the new year.
